Originally from Japan, Masayoshi Fujita is a vibraphonist and composer based in Berlin. Influenced and inspired by classical, jazz and many other kinds of music, he eschews standard vibraphone styles for composition and performance, preferring to experiment with a prepared instrument and electronics. Fujita also performs and releases music as El Fog (vibraphone and electronics), and is a member of the experimental improvising band Pan Am Scan.
 
Faitiche released Jan Jelinek and Fujita’s first collaborative album, Bird, Lake, Objects in 2010.
